The experimental fields where this project is executed are located in three areas from A Coruña, Lugo and Ourense provinces. The first one is located in Santa Comba council and it's 9,500 square metres long. The second one is located in Chantada council and its area is 6,959 square metres. The third one is located in Trasmiras council and its area is 9,968 square metres.

After the first stage where workd were carried out to replant during summer and set the ground during autumn, plantation is now being started with 1,000 specimens selected from two plant nurseries from Lugo and Pontevedra.

Lourizán Forestry Research Centre, Ingacal and Juana de Vega Foundation are working in this project. It aims to create a set of quercus robur plantations with more variety than the currently ones. Different geographic background trees are being ghatered in order to achieve high genetic value fields in lands from the autonomous community.
