Raquel Díaz Vázquez, Lourizán’s researcher, attended on behalf of the centre to IUFRO 125 Anniversary Congress, which took place from September 18^th to 22^nd in Freiburg (Germany).

In her oral presentation, she introduced the progress in the program of genetic improvement of P. pinaster against the nematode of the pine wood. She also introduced a poster about the research on the induced resistance and mortality from pine wilt disease caused by the pine wood nematode (Bursaphelenchus xylophilus).
